Palmetto Peloton Project participants get the first "Insider's Peek" at Oncology programs with medical oncologist Jeff Edenfield, M.D.

"Insider's Peek" is a new offering of Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS), which gives a special inside look at the cutting edge cancer research, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programs taking place right here in the Upstate.

Here's what Palmetto Peloton Project participants had to say about their "Insider's Peek":

"After participating in Insider's Peek with the Greenville Hospital System Cancer Center team, I just can't imagine NOT helping them fund their research through the Palmetto Peloton Project and individually. New and innovative ways of treating cancer...they are right at the forefront...right here in GREENVILLE!"

"The Cancer Center team took an hour out of their evening to go over what GREAT and INNOVATIVE research and treatment we have right here. Through Cancer Center programs like Total Cancer Care and Target Now...I am stunned with the mindset and strategies of handling each cancer victim individually (based on their molecular profile) and studying just their cancer cells and developing a treatment specifically for that person. Not to mention the tissue bank they are developing to connect several treatment facilities with medical research all over the world. You have got to experience an Insider's Peek at the GHS Cancer Center!"

If you are interested in participating philanthropically in the fight against cancer, you can donate to cancer services here or schedule an Insider's Peek by contacting Director of Cancer Services James Kaltenbach in the Office of Philanthropy and Partnership at (864) 797-7734 or by email.
