Oconee Christmas Tree Festival

2016 Christmas Tree Festival raises $167,000

The Christmas Tree Festival is a fundraising event  for GHS Hospice of the Foothills in Oconee County. The 2016 event raised more than $167,000 ensuring that people can take their journey through the end of their life with compassion, caring and dignity and their loved ones can receive understanding and support. The five-day festival is completely staffed and organized by volunteers who are passionate about Hospice of the Foothills and end-of-life care for patients and families.

Since the first Christmas Tree Festival in 2004, we have raised more than $1,303,000 to help build the Cottingham House at Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, but we aren't done yet. Funds raised from this event will support the Crippen Endowment to ensure financial support is available to maintain the House and hospice services in perpetuity.
