Children's HospitalFrom primary care to specialty care, Children's Hospital at GHS is dedicated to providing outstanding medical care for every child. We care for the whole child, recognizing that a child's needs are not limited to the medical aspects of treatment. We are also committed to serving the emotional well-being of the patients, their parents and their siblings.
Children's Hospital serves as the region's source for pediatric care. Physicians, board-certified in multiple pediatric subspecialties and experienced in advanced medicine, treat more than 80,000 infants, children and adolescents each year. Pediatric radiologists and anesthesiologists are on-sire around the clock, providing expert care specifically tailored to the needs of children, including critically ill and premature newborns.
Here, physicians, nurses, therapists and other clinicians approach patient care through the eyes of a child. From pediatric-sized medical equipment to patient room decor, innovative care is delivered in a child-friendly environment.

Children's Miracle Network HospitalsChildren's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for hospitalized children in more than 170 children's hospitals. CMN Hospitals' partners conduct thousands of special events and grassroots fundraisers year-round. Corporate partners sell Miracle Balloons, radio and television stations broadcast stories of medical miracles, and college students hold Dance Marathons. Donations to CMN Hospitals create miracles by funding medical care, research and education that save and improve the lives of 17 million children each year. Through continuous efforts to help kids, CMN has raised more than $3.4 billion since 1983, most of which was donated a few dollars at a time by caring individuals.
The local CMN Hospitals affiliate is Children's Hospital at GHS, which serves upstate South Carolina, western North Carolina, and northeastern Georgia. This year alone, GHS Children's Hospital will provide charity care worth millions, and it depends on community support to help fund its vital services. In partnership with our top CMN Hospitals sponsor, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, Children's Hospital has raised $6.5 million since 1992.
Here's an example of how you can help support CMN Hospitals:
